Yesterday was quite the day. I took the day off from work, for various reasons. I was taking my theoretic driving exam, Marte had to take an ultrasound, and we had to do tids and bits that you normally don’t have time to do during a normal weekday. Not for us anyway, by the time we get home, most shops are closed, and we’re both tired. So it was really good just having the two of us walking around, like in the old days.
So, first news I guess, I passed my exam, wohoo! Now I only need to learn how to drive properly, and I’ll hopefully be able to do what was my goal in the first place, which brings me to the next news. We’re having a baby! Another addition to the family (Michael will mow the lawn, this one will probably be assigned to washing the dishes. Don’t you just love having kids around!). :)
For real though, it’s nuts. Michael will hopefully have a little brother or sister, someone to play with, and our dream of having another child seems to be coming true. :) Here’s a picture of the ultrasound we took yesterday:
We’re both really thrilled about it. :)
We’ve known for weeks, but didn’t want to tell anyone because of the miscarriage that happened a few months back. We took it really hard, and made the mistake of telling others before things were safer, for the baby that is. Things might still go wrong, but we have no other option but to keep our spirits up, and have faith that everything will go well.
The duedate for the baby is the 24th of December. Sound familiar? :)
